The layout includes the Central of Georgia mainline represented as an ovel with the yard and station at Chickamauga. From there the branch line to the town of Durham departs to climb to the top of Lookout mountain to serve a coal tipple on an "as needed" basis. The branch was abandoned in 1951-52 and the Central mainline (NS) is served by the Chattooga and Chickamauga Railway and excursion service by the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. The old Central line is abandoned below Summerville, Ga. The yard layout at Chickamauga and Durham are based as much as possible on the actual layout of the yards.

Direction Comment
Chatley Court (cul de sac) is just off Chatley Way on the back side of Wellington Manor subdivision. 804 Chatley Court is the only red brick house on the Cul de sac.
Wheelchair Accessible
ADA Comments
The layout is located in a daylight basement with access provided by a concrete walkway from the driveway. While no steps are required to gain access to the basement, the sidewalk does have a steep section that could be hard to manage by non-motorized wheelchair or by walker under wet conditions.
