Layout Description:

The North South Railroad is an N Scale basement empire occupying approximately 900 sq. ft.  The layout represents a bridge route connecting Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Cincinnati.

Operations feature intermodal and coal trains, as well as mixed freight, set in the 1970-2000 time frame.  Layout highlights include Cheoah Dam module built by Mike Callahan, MMR with a gantlet bridge across the Little Tennessee River; Ryder/PIE truck terminal; Ford auto assembly factory, and Lady Jane coal loader.

The North South Railroad was featured in the May/June 2013 issue of NScale Magazine.
