Layout Description:
The North South Railroad is an N Scale basement empire occupying approximately 900 sq. ft. The layout represents a bridge route connecting Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Cincinnati.
Operations feature intermodal and coal trains, as well as mixed freight, set in the 1970-2000 time frame. Layout highlights include Cheoah Dam module built by Mike Callahan, MMR with a gantlet bridge across the Little Tennessee River; Ryder/PIE truck terminal; Ford auto assembly factory, and Lady Jane coal loader.
