This railroad depicts the States of California, Utah, and Colorado. The N-Scale layout has over 300’ of laid and finished track work, hand painted scenery covering 3 walls, 50% finished scenery, 95% finished structures, and a 4 level Helix visible by video camera. The Era is 1946-56. Steam engines and Diesel are operating and 2 staging yards are available. A unique feature is a Rolling Lift Bridge that is fully operational over a finished Harbor. Many quality industries are in place throughout the layout. There are 5 reverse loops allowing many directions of travel. Signal lights are operational on all major turnouts. 2 years of progress (out of 7) are reflected in this years Pilgrimage.
Take Hwy 85 to exit 126. Go West at the top of the ramp onto Hwy 211 (Winder Hwy). Proceed approximately 2 miles to Thompson Mill Rd (Hwy 347) and turn Left at the light. Go about 1 mile to Access the Village at Deaton Creek via Friendship Drive (347). When approaching gated community stay in left lane to security guard house. Ask for printed directions to Ken Raymond at 6538 Autumn Crest Lane (about 1.5 miles).
