The railroad depicts the Southern California to Oregon coastline. A rugged terrain of rocky hills surrounds a Harbor. The N-Scale layout features a total of about 240 feet of laid track and a 4 level oval dual-track Helix in an adjoining room. A video camera has been added in the Helix and is displayed in the operations room. There are 2 main levels and 2 more sublevels where structures are being placed. The Era is 1946 to 1956. The background has been painted on three walls. No green landscaping is in place. A large mirror on a sliding track reflects scenery. Industries have been created and placed on the layout. A round house and turntable are central to the area. The track has 5 reverse loops allowing multiple directions of travel. The layout has been expanded adding about 20% more area since 2012. It is DCC controlled.
