The video above is a replay from our 2020 "virtual" Piedmont Pilgrimage.

For 2021, this will be an in-person tour of this indoor model railroad.

Layout Description:

Large basement layout featuring 2 levels with valance lighting using fluorescent bulbs and LEDs for buildings and yard lights. Features include: beautiful scenery providing a realistic setting for operation; the CTC Signal System is Dispatcher controlled to keep traffic moving; two staging yards, realistic animation and five towns provide lots of operating interest; Digitrax DCC controls the trains; antique telephones are used for communications; and several contest winning structures make this a great layout. The newest features include our scratch built 2-stall Trolley Barn, custom  sound effects and the city of Gerryville with 20 detailed buildings.  There are over 150 LED lights used throughout the layout.  Our crew also uses the new WiFi Throttle.  Appeared in the April 2018 Model Railroader magazine.
